A Tribute to the First Responders of 9/11

by Thin Blue Line USA September 09, 2020 14 Comments

343 Firefighters.
60 Police Officers.
8 Paramedics.
3,000 Americans.

We will never forget.

How in that smoke's silver lining,
Stood a Line of Blue
A Line of Red
And a Line of White

To show the world, these colors don't run.

----

September 11th, 2001. It was a pivotal day in our country’s history. We were devastated, but afterwards we unified and worked hard to rebuild what was lost. The extraordinary bravery exhibited by our first responders, rushing towards the flames, will never be forgotten. The 343 firefighters that gave their lives. The 60 police officers that gave their lives. The 8 paramedics that gave their lives. And the 3,000 Americans that were ripped away from their families by unprecedented terror. These are our heroes.

Thank you for paying tribute to those we lost that day. Life has never been the same since that day. With Fireman and Policemen in my family these are the true heroes and great role models for our youth not the overpaid ungrateful professional sports players.

This is a great short tribute to a day we all will never forget. September 11, 2001 completely changed all of us in one way or another. Staring at our tv in disbelief of what just happened. This cut through the heart of this country and every man, woman and child with in. To all of the victims of that day, you did not die in vain. We will forever remember you.

To see what our beautiful country has become makes this 9/11 sacrifice more heartbreaking. To think that kids in schools today probably do not even know this horrific event ever happened since teaching American history is not allowed anymore.

God help us…..
